As the series goes on he gets continually ignored by Lakigr for other, more capable Pokémon with Lani and co even admitting that they deliberately prevented him from levelling up because, in their own words, Charizard is an overrated fire lizard. This is in spite of the fact that he could have just escaped from his masters and lived far away with his Pokémon. Revenge Before Reason: After breaking free from TFS' control Lakigr steals his champion team and sends a note to his former masters that he will wait for them on the peak of Mount Silver to kill their new team in retaliation. Big Bad: Technically serves as this for the SoulSilver Nuzlocke, as his challenge to the boys is what sets off the creation of Tantor and Lakigr serves as the Final Boss for the story.
